c. The individual reports have one of three formats, as specified by control bits KR4, KR3, and KR2; data only (16 bits per report); channel and data (23 bits); or frequency and data (36 bits) (see figure 7). In all cases, the data portion of the report has the same format: age of

the data (3 bits), multipath (3 bits), SINAD (5 bits), and BER (5 bits), with encodings as specified in paragraph e below. When a channel or frequency designator is included in each report, it immediately precedes its corresponding data field, and is formatted as described in MIL-STD-188-141, section entitled "Channel Designation or Frequency designation."
